Her teaching style encompasses a thorough training of piano technique, music theory, history, orchestration, sight-reading and a crucial element that many piano lessons skip out on: ear training. Kathy also takes care of all administrative tasks involved in students' performances, auditions and/or exams if they wish to sit them, and is actively involved in playing a vital role in the students' musical education.

Kathy realised her passion for teaching quickly after she began casually teaching piano to the children of family friends when she was just a child herself, at the age of thirteen. The kids were having fun while also learning a new skill, and expressed interest in continuing to explore this funny thing called the piano. More than a decade later, Kathy is still helping students of all backgrounds and ages achieve their music dreams.
